Evan Marshall & Friends specialize in performing Bluegrass music with multiple influences from other genres, especially Classical. During the last 30 years, they have concertized all across the USA, having performed for hundreds of thousands of audience members at Symphony Pops concerts in major cities including Houston, Buffalo, and Phoenix, Performing Arts Centers, State and County Fairs (over 400 shows at the Puyallup/Washington State Fair), Bluegrass and Folk Music Festivals, Park Concerts, Theme Parks, Schools and Colleges, Convention Centers, Listening Rooms, and private homes.

Evan Marshall – mandolin, fiddle & vocals
Evan Marshall is an internationally renowned mandolin virtuoso and is generally regarded as one of the world's premier solo performers in Duo-Style.  Country guitar legend Chet Atkins called him "one of the few great musicians of our time." Evan has been a featured guest in Symphony Pops concerts in many cities across the USA, including Long Beach, Grand Rapids and San Antonio.  In 1995, Evan made his first appearance on A Prairie Home Companion, where he performed his signature arrangement of The William Tell Overture. Two of his solo mandolin recordings have been released by Rounder Records: Evan Marshall Is the Lone Arranger, which the Washington Post labeled "Truly dazzling," the Raleigh-Durham Independent called "Superhuman," and the Fresno Bee called "Mind-boggling;" and Mandolin Magic, which the St. Paul Pioneer Press applauded for a "Stunning mastery of interpretation." Evan has also recorded eight solo albums for his own label, Mandolin Conservatory.

John Marshall – fiddle, bass fiddle & vocals
John Marshall received his music degree from Occidental College, where he served as Concertmaster of the Collegiate Symphony and studied with the legendary concert violinist Robert Gross. John is an innovator on the bass fiddle and is regarded by many as Bluegrass music's premier slap-bass virtuoso. From 2009 to 2017, he was a featured performer in the touring company of Ring of Fire, the Musical, celebrating the life of Johnny Cash.

Andy Rau – 5-string banjo & vocals
Andy Rau has been performing professionally since 1975. He began his career as the in-house banjo player at Knott’s Berry Farm in his hometown of Buena Park, CA. During those 10 years, he performed in a variety of bluegrass bands, country-rock bands, and variety stage productions. Andy has continued to perform at venues such as Disneyland, Six Flags, Sea World, Paramount Studios, The Disney Studios, and The Burbank Studios. Andy has endorsements with The Deering Banjo Company and GHS Strings, and has been featured in magazines such as Acoustic Musician, Bluegrass Unlimited, and Banjo Gazette.

Arshag Chookoorian – guitar & vocals
Arshag Chookoorian, a graduate of California State University, Northridge, has worked in nearly every phase of the music industry. As a percussionist, guitarist and vocalist, Arshag has performed with show groups on the Nevada Hotel circuit. His credits also include numerous motion picture and television appearances, including Charlie’s Angels, The Love Boat, The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, Full House, and feature films Protocol and Heartbreakers. Arshag has released numerous solo CDs on the Lightning Records label.

Ellery Marshall – 5-string banjo & vocals
Ellery Marshall has performed extensively with renowned mandolinist Andy Statman, and his solo record, Marshall On Monk, features Scruggs-style banjo arrangements of compositions by Thelonius Monk.
