Alumna Chelsea Vukovich (15), a business major, was awarded the 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 Ruby Priscilla Award for Teaching and Mentoring at an award ceremony during National Women's History Month.
Awarded for excellence in teaching and mentoring, the recipient of the Priscilla Award is selected for her display of love for Gods word and a desire to live out His truth in love. Vukovichs desire has been to spread the gospel and teach Scriptures through her actions, words, and attitude. Her years spent as a student at 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 have shaped her and instilled a new sense of confidence within her life, she said at a ceremony on March 18.
She has been involved with the 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 community since her freshman year as a Student Orientation Services (SOS) leader. She became a SOS director the following year hiring and training the 66 student leaders, pouring herself into their lives and helping them grow.
As one of the two student development chairs for the 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 Accounting Society, Vukovich prepared students for interviewing and networking outside of 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023. During her time as chair, she reached out to several freshmen girls, getting to know them personally and advising them academically. As she nurtured their growth into roles of leadership, she exemplified the Priscilla Award.
Following her graduation in December 2015 with a bachelor's degree in business administration, she has pursued her CPA license and plans to start work at Ernst and Young the third largest professional services firm in the world in the Fall.
